SubChecks Feature
SubChecks sends you a reminder 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before any renewal so you always have time to cancel or review before you are charged.
The most expensive subscription mistake is the one you forgot about. An annual plan you stopped using. A free trial you meant to cancel. A service you kept meaning to review. Renewal reminders give you a window to act before the charge hits rather than after.
SubChecks sends reminders at 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before each renewal. The 7-day reminder gives you time to actually think about it. The 3-day reminder is a follow-up if you forgot. The 1-day reminder is your last chance to cancel. All three are included in Pro.
Free users get in-app notifications that appear inside SubChecks. Pro users also get email reminders delivered directly to their inbox. Email works even if you have not opened the app in a while, which is when you need the reminder most.
You do not need to configure reminders for each subscription individually. When you add a subscription to SubChecks, renewal tracking starts immediately. Your next renewal date is calculated automatically and reminders fire on schedule.
When exactly do reminders get sent?
Email reminders go out once per day, early in the morning. You will get one 7 days before renewal, one 3 days before, and one the day before. In-app notifications appear at the same intervals inside the SubChecks dashboard.
Do I need Pro for reminders?
In-app reminders are available to all users including Free. Email reminders delivered to your inbox are a Pro feature. Pro is a one-time $29 payment.
Can I turn off reminders for specific subscriptions?
Yes. You can enable or disable reminders per subscription from the subscriptions page. You can also choose which reminder intervals you want to receive.
What does the reminder email look like?
The email shows the service name, amount, renewal date, and a link to view it in SubChecks. It is short and actionable so you can decide in seconds whether to cancel or let it renew.
